Problems with Sage 50 SmartPosting Service
The Sage SmartPosting service error is not running, hung, or can't be started. Users are reporting that this issue starts after upgrading to the latest Sage version.
Steps to Fix the Sage 50 Smart Posting Not Running on the Server
Close Sage 50 on any machines where it is installed
Find your program path
Change the year 2019 in all three places if you are using a different release
Run by clicking Start, Run
In the Open field, type cmd
Then click OK.
Enter the updated command line you created in step 3 into the DOS prompt window
The screen will display SUCCESS
Run by clicking Start, Run
Start by typing services.msc
Click the OK button
If issue not resolved go to the second tips to fix the Smart Posting Not Running on the Server into Sage 50.
